The Egyptian Ministry of Finance, Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF), African Development Bank (AfDB), Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), World Bank (WB) and Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors are co-organizing a Workshop on Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) Procurement and Financing Business Opportunities and Policies for the MENA Region. It is part of a Workshop Series designed to provide a better understanding for contractors, suppliers, consultants, and potential project developers on how to successfully participate in MDB-financed infrastructure projects, and to spread the use of MDB standards for high-quality and sustainable infrastructure. The second of the Series is focused on MENA-region companies and be hosted in Cairo Egypt, as an important regional hub for infrastructure companies. The event is a two-day hybrid workshop, to be held in Cairo, Egypt and online via Zoom. Presentations and discussions will be held in English with simultaneous Arabic translation. Presentations and knowledge products will be uploaded on the MCDF JIGSAW Platform (https://jigsaw.themcdf.org). Participants will be engaged through small group discussions and question-and-answer sessions at the end of each panel discussion.
